Dan Brown's novel, "The Lost Symbol" is excellent research and writing, mixing Truth and untruth. This is for you to discover. Herein, we will explore the differences, emphasizing what is true and what you can discover. You can participate with your insights and comments.
Just finished the novel.!. Stayed up from midnight to 3AM, not disappointed! Ancients knew more than most of us; Robert Langdon is the world’s leading symbologist, but Katherine Solomon is the world’s leading scientist in Noetics, mind-power.
You can look up the word in Wiktionary: 'Noetics' is from ancient Greek, meaning, ultimately:: "I see and understand!" But "The Lost Symbol" novel talks also about your MIND-POWER.
Son-David wanted to borrow my copy of The Lost Symbol, but I explained I needed to review it another time for my daily NOTES eBlast I send to a national eList. Then I plan to read a chapter a night (taking four months, since there are 135 chapters, some only a page or two -- that way I can ponder and appreciate every situation and symbol set.) Our granddaughter was almost cute enough to make me give in.
